Jorge Munoz

Jorge Luis Munoz, 70 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away February 12, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones in Lubbock, Texas. 

Mr. Munoz was born June 25, 1955 to Andres Munoz and Soledad Granados in San Ciro, San Luis Potes, Mexico. 

Visitation for Jorge will be Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Fabian Sena officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Jorge is survived by his wife: Jesus Aide Zuniga. Four sons: Jorge Munoz, Marco Munoz, Abel Munoz, and Bryan Munoz. Mother: Soledad Granados Munoz. Five brothers: Miguel Munoz, Carlos A. Munoz, Martin Munoz, Gustavo Munoz, and Rene Munoz. Two sisters: Xoatiel Munoz and Maria de Jesus Munoz. Six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Jorge was preceded in death by his father: Andres Munoz.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
